Hi, ALL. DVD-player Sony DVP-NS415 r1/r3/r2-Japan don,t have solderless upgrade (Example: PDA, DESKTOP, IRC, CD - R and etc....) in variant MULTIREGION, and NTSC and PAL-enable, and Macrovision OFF. The modification of this player is done only through special Sony-Data-service-cable and special firm software through plugs On main-board (plug CN-103) and on IR-board (plug CN-405). P.S.: NOTE - Besides, on main-board of this player it is necessary to install additional Components for Pal-enable. Best regards Fred | |||

I used the Pronto remote with the codes on this web site and it works perfectly on my Sony DVP-NS52P. Just press 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 while the DVD player is in standbye mode and the player will display SUCCESS after button number 5 is pressed. I used the Pronto edit 4.0 software and a Pronto RU890 remote control. you have to copy paste the numeric codes for the 5 buttons seperate under the Set IR -> View IR -> copy paste the numbers in the blank box displayed.
