	I tried all the hack published (i.e.: Press 1 and Return...; Press Title, Clear & Power...) y finally did all the work programing my Sony Clie with the style included in this page: http://dev0_2000.tripod.com/ and it work with no problems. The only difference is that this DVD player doesn't have the red light so: put the dvd player in std by mode and then press the buttons secuentialy (1,2,3,4,5) it goes on and then again and it goes off. Then your dvd player is region free. I did this with a dvd player bought in the USA that is only region 1 and after this hack play also region 4 videos.

	I tried the prodedure where you get to the tray aging option in the service menu and enter 12450 and fill the other field with 0s. No luck. I then tried the following procedure using a RadioShack universal remote which has One for All circuitry: Select DVD device on remote Hold Magic button until DVD button flashes twice Press 0, 5, 3 and 3 Set Up Device DVD Player Put a disc in player and put player onto welcome screen Hold Magic button down until DVD button on remote flashes twice Press 9, 9 and 4 Press Magic button Press 1, 8, 9 and 1 Repeat steps 2 to 4, then press 2, 5, 5 and 2 Repeat steps 2 to 4, then press 0, 9, 5 and 3 Repeat steps 2 to 4, then press 2, 2, 1 and 4 Repeat steps 2 to 4, then press 0, 7, 9 and 5 Remove disc from the player, then put player on stand by Press 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 (success will be displayed and comes out of stand by Press 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 (player goes into stand by and your player is now region free) Only it's still not multi-region compatible! I even put a DVD in and then stopped it. Is that the welcome screen? Will that really make a difference? I tried it with a disk and without a disk and I still can't play my UK DVDs here in the US.
