** Use your own remote, no need for any special remote Multi-Region: * Put the player into Standby mode (connect the power cord, turn on the dvd, wait a few seconds and turn off again, the STANDBY leyend will show in dvd) * Press 1 and Center button among the arrows for region 1 (the disc you want to play), 2 and Center button for region 2, and so on. * Press "PictureNAVI" and Return to play DVD's with the selected region, "Multiregion enabled" * turn on the DVD, enter a multiregion disc and let it play a few seconds, now take it out and enter a region 1 disc (or a disc according to the region you entered previously). Now the dvd is region free. Tested and worked fine on a Mexico Region 4. Now plays Region 1 and Region 2 discs (havent tested other region discs) *** Found the lock in the web (was for DAV-S300), I havent tested it on other players. | |||
