These steps should work for region 2-6 s1200 players but not US/Canada region 1 models. Start with the instructions by hiredbuns for the Sony s1100, in step 3 use code = 1516 or 0533. Check it to make sure the OneForAll remote turns the S1100 on and off. Make sure the BDP-s1200 is on with no disc in the tray. The TV should show some icons. Move the cursor to be in the Video column. With the OneForAll remote press 12345, there are no visible changes on the tv screen or the player. Turn the player off, then disconnect it from the wall plug for 10-15 seconds. Plug it back in, turn it on again, and try a region 1 dvd. It should play. These steps worked for a region 2 S1200 and it now plays NTSC and PAL dvds. Still only zone B blurays. | |||
