Valid for the e-bench KH 6507 as well as for the Silvercrest 6507 Go to the following location: http://www.versiliaweb.net/silvercrest/index_en.htm Install according to the instructions on the page. In the setup menu you will now be able to set the region code (set 0 for region free). !! You will after installing this firmware only have access to the following OSD languages: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese. !! Forget the "hack" mentioned in another posting on this page (the 1379 crap). It's just bullshit. It only shows the status of your player, but you will not be able to change anything. | |||

The 1379 hack really isn't bullshit. When applied _exactly_ how the directions say it works well with the KH 6507 (was originally set for region 2). Notice that you really have to leave the disc tray open and go to the preference page before typing 1379! | |||
