SilverCrest KH-2360 portable DVD player with dual LCD monitors. 0. power the main unit off 1. open the disc tray, remove any discs, leave the disc tray open 2. power the main unit on 3. press "setup" button on the remote 4. go to "preference" page (by pressing the right-arrow button twice) 5. enter 8888 (by pressing the "8" key four times) to reveal the current region code - probably 2 6. use the down-arrow key until the region code changes to 0 7. press the "Enter" key 8. exit by pressing the "setup" button. Now the KH2360 is region free! | |||

One of the dual displays or some external display should be connected to the player unit, so that the screen can be seen during the hack. 1. Power off the main unit and remove any disk 2. Leave the tray open, and power on the main unit 3. Press the "setup" key on the remote 4. Go to the preference page by pressing the right arrow key twice 5. Press 8888 to reveal the current region code (probably 2) 6. Use the down arrow key until the region code is 0 7. Press the "OK" key, then exit by pressing "setup" The player is now region-free. I tested play successfully with region 0, region 1, and region 2 DVDs. | |||
