This hack worked for me 1st time 1. Turn the dvd on 2. Open the dvd drawer (with no disc on it) 3. Using the remote control press 9999 and wait for a few seconds 4. Now press 9 for region free (when you do this, you will see number 9 displayed on the tv screen over a long bar, above the Silvercrest text) 5. Close the disc tray 6. Turn the dvd off 7. The dvd is now region free | |||
