This Hack is for a SEG DVD 430. Open the shuttle door. Push 2812 on the remote. The TV should display current region (2 in my case). Now, ON THE DVD PLAYER FRONT PANEL, push the play button repeatedly. The region code will count up. 2,3,4...etc. as you push the button. 9 is the code for all regions. I did have one interesting problem after doing this. One of my region 1 DVD's was playing in some other language than what I had selected. Other DVD's worked just fine. Good Luck! | |||

The region hack works great with my "SEG DVD 430" bought last week in Germany! It's not necessary to push the play button on the DVD player to select the region code. You can also use the play button on the remote control to do this. Another way to check the actual region code: Press "Setup", then press 111 and the player displays the enhanced information. Above worked fine with SEG DVD 333 as well. Instead of Play on front panel of DVD unit, used "OK" button on remote to switch regional code to 9. | |||
