In the three last years I have had, and still have, three different Scott dvd players. All of them have been succsessfully made region free by the following procedure; 1. open the disc tray 2. enter with the remote 9-9-9-9-9. When the fifth and last "9" are pressed, a 9 will appear in the top right hand corner. 3. This might work on several of Sotts dvd-players, it`s worth a try anyway. Good luck 4.
