1. Switch DVD player on as usual with all connections and batteries installed. 2. Switch on TV to display Scott background 3. Open DVD Tray on front panel or Remote 4. On the remote, press 5, 1, 6, 8. A "Custom page" menu will appear. 5. Choose your region OR Procedure to choose region free AFTER step 1-5 a. When Menu item is Blue, it is active. b. Scroll UP with the cursor in the REGION section until it appears to highlight the CHIP ID field. c. NOW press ENTER d. Scroll down and EXIT SETUP. Your player is now REGION FREE. | |||

1. open the disk tray 2. enter with the remote control 99999. When the fifth '9' is pressed, a '9' will appear in the top right corner on the TV screen. 3. your "scott dvx 967" should now be region free. | |||
