The same solution applied for the X70 worked on my X810

1. Remove disc from tray.
2. Switch off player and unplug power cord.
3. Wait 30 seconds, then reconnect power cord.
4. Turn on player with remote. Wait for player to finish loading and display 'no disc'.
5. Press enter on remote. (There will be no on-screen response.)
6. Press 8, 4, 2, 6, 9 on the remote. (There will be no on-screen response.)
7. Press enter on the remote. Player will automatically shut off.
8. Turn player on.
9. Turn off.
10. Turn player on then off again.
11. Player is now region-free.

To convert the region 2 HT-X810T soundbar/DVD player into
playing region 1 disks the widely described hack works:
Switch on, wait until the No Disk text appears, use your
remote control: ENTER, 8, 4, 2, 6, 9, ENTER. No reactions on
the TV-screen, automatic shutdown. Switch on and Region 1
disks are now accepted.
Trying to play region 1 movies using HDMI could still result
in blocky picture, and hickups in soundtrack. It means you
are feeding the TV directly with the standard definition
NTSC signal, and there is a problem syncing 60Hz signal or
the HDCP kicks in. To get the things to work use following
procedure:
1. push STOP twice, DVD player fully stops playing the disk
2. hold down remote's SD/HD button (left button in the 3rd
row from bottom) for 5 sec, screen flickers and new
resolution description (1280x720, 50 Hz)appears.
Now the DVD signal is upscaled prior to sending it to TV,
and after this everything works fine. Play the movie.
You can upscale more if you wish - 1920x1080i, and
1920x1080p are available if you use step 2 again.
TESTED on SAMSUNG HT-810R/XEE + SAMSUNG LE40B755U1WXXE
