For the Samsung DVDVR-300 sold in Australia to multizone: Switch on with no disc in machine, press 0 five times, press menue key then enter: 76884, turn off then on and if region is asked for enter 9 (if not asked for, still enter 9.) This has been tested and works. | |||

If all the other fixes for this model do not work try this one - It has been tried and tested and it has definitely worked for me on the Samsng DVD-VR300 bought in Australia 2 years ago. (i actually found the fix on a different model Samsung and decided to give it a go and it worked) happy days. It has saved me from going out and buying a new unit. Now I can watch all movies regardless from what region they are made/come from. Hack = Turn machine on without disc inside Press menu button Enter 7 6 8 8 4 A highlighted '4' will appear in the upper left corner Press 9 to change the region 4 to multi-regional Turn machine off | |||
