1. Install the latest firmware (at least sh873_080816) from samsung site (http://www.samsung.com/download/index.aspx?agreement=y) 2. After the upgrade turn on the dvd player 3. Make sure there's no dvd in closed tray 4. Press the 'menu' button 5. In the main page press: 29334 if you have a region1 player 57538 if you have a region2 player 56732 if you have a region3 player 76884 if you have a region4 player 53814 if you have a region5 player 24462 if you have a region6 player 123456 if you are already in multiregion 6. Current region code is visible in the right corner 7. Press 9 for multiregion code or other region number to go back 8. Immediatly Press the 'Open/Close' button and leave the tray open for a about 5 seconds. 9. Press the 'On/off' button, player should be multi-region or region back.... | |||

Works like a charm! I've applied it for the Samsung DVD-SH-875. Actually I missed the 5-seconds open part, and just opened and closed quickly, but that's nitpicking really :-) thanks greatly! | |||
