This a very easy hack to do. First make sure there are no disc`s in the drive tray. Step 1= On the remote press the dvd button Step 2= Then go into setup menu. Step 3= ( this bit you have to make sure this done realy quickly "NO DELAY" in between button pressing) Press the Repeat button. Step 4= type this code in from the remote " 57538 ".A number " 2 " will appear on the right hand side nearly at the top. Step 5= Quickly press "9" to make it all region. Step 6= When you see the 9 number simply press the eject button to open and close the dvd tray. Step 7= Turn off the machine and turn back on. To check weather its worked simply go though steps 2,3 and 4. This hack works on the even if youve upgraded your firmware to the Samsung DVD-SH875M(by the way SH-871M and SH-875M carry the same firmware which you can download from Samsung.I had to change my firmware because the EPG was to slow.Now it works like a treet.
