I applied the same hack as the one for the R155 and it worked perfectly ! (R150 purchased at a Mediamarkt shop in Antwerp, Belgium) | |||

I have tried using the hack from the DVD-R155, and whilst it works, and i can now play my Region 1 dvd's, but they play in black and white, due to the NTSC factor, anyone else come across this? | |||

Tried the hack for the R155 and it didn't work. However found a posting elsewhere that said instead of hitting Menu twice at the end of the hack, hit Open/close. Tried this and it worked a treat. | |||

I also applied the hack for the R155 model on my R150 model and it worked as a breeze--the first one, but adapted for my country! The procedure ran like this: 1) Turn on your DVD 2) Press Menu buttom on remote control 3) Press quickly 7,6,8,8,4 4) See that the region code (#4, Brazil etc.) appear on screen, then press 9 key quickly for multi-region playback. 5) Then press Menu buttom twice That's it fellows! Small note on step 3): Use the Region codes below accordingly: RC 1: 2, 9, 3, 3, 4 RC 2: 5, 7, 5, 3, 8 RC 3: 5, 6, 7, 3, 2 RC 4: 7, 6, 8, 8, 4 RC 5: 5, 3, 8, 1, 4 RC 6: 2, 4, 4, 6, 2 Good luck to you all. | |||
