Bought region 1 DVD player from Target, Texas, August 2009. Using videohelp.com instructions for Samsung model DVD-p191 Hack I got screen with 3,8,21,24,25 highlighted. I un-highlighted 3,8,21,24 and highlighted 9. The player now plays both region 1 and 2 DVDs. -repeat -fast rewind (below the DISC MENU) -next chapter (above the RETURN) -fast forward (below the ZOOM) -previous chapter (right above the MENU) -play Un-highlight all but 9 and 25. Then press play. The DVD player now plays region 1 and region 2 (PAL!) DVDs no problem. | |||

I've bought a Region 2 Samsung DVD P190 Player, from UAE, and it wont play a region 3 NTSC DVD's, so I followed the instructions to make it region free by highlighting 9 and 25, but now it wont play any VCD's :(. Does anybody have hacks to make the player Region free and play VCD's as it used to before I applied the hack. Before I applied the hack, the numbers that were highlighted were, 2,4,5,8,10,14,21,24 & 25. | |||
