	I was unable to use at the hack from Uli for my Canadian portable model Samsung DVD-L70 ( region player 1). Instead, I used the following hack from the DVD- L100 portable with success: 1) Turn on your player 2) With no disk inside press REPEAT button on your remote 3) Press up arrow 4) Press down arrow 5) Press right arrow 6) Press left arrow 7) by now you will see a number on the screen ( firmware version). 8) now press the up arrow button until you read the number " 9 " on the screen 9) press the REPEAT button 10) open disk cover 11) Close disk cover 12) Turn off

	Just confirmed that Uli's hack does not work on a DVD-L70 or DVD-L75. I also confirmed that Gmart's hack does work on a DVD-L70, but not a DVD-L75. (I have both players)

	works for me till displaying firmware version, later the arrow up or down does nor make any change, i tryed both, pressing and holding the up arrow button or clicking it several times. any other idea?

	Dudes, I have a US Samsung DVD-L70 ( region 1) and i try to use the hack from Uli, but does not work. The hack from Gmart works even the part of a number appears in the screen, but this number is fixed, i can change with the UP or DOWN key. Maybe i do something wrong, i need press several times the key UP or hold? Somebody have another way? I can't find a hack from this player!
