It's lite the hack for the HR 735, but instead of waiting 15 sec, open and close the tray directly, while my new region was still shown. Anyway, to make this more complete... The digit sequence you'll need will depend on your region; The sequence for region 2 and 4 have been tested and verified for HR 735, the one for region 2 is tested and verified for HR 750 by me. The other probably work as well. The last digit is the new region, 9 is for multiregion. Region 1 use 2,9,3,3,4,9 Region 2 use 5,7,5,3,8,9 Region 3 use 5,6,7,3,2,9 Region 4 use 7,6,8,8,4,9 Region 5 use 5,3,8,1,4,9 Region 6 use 2,4,4,6,2,9 Instructions: * make sure the tray is empty * Press 0 five times in a row. (1 sec intervall?) * Press "REPEAT" (Not "REPEAT a-b") * Enter the digit sequence corresponding to your region. -On the second last digit, your region should be shown in a blue box up in the left corner -On the last digit (the new region), the new region should be shown in the blue box instead of the old one. * Eject and close the tray before the new region dissapears from the screen. * Turn the player off and on, it should now be region free:) Worked for me, good luck;) | |||

I tried the hack mentioned above, but even if now my HR750 region 2 player can read DVDs from USA, it play them only in black and white. | |||
