After careful reading I've discovered an effective way to make this DVD region free. Mine was zone 4 (76884). If you have a DVD on different zone, just punch in the correct code for it. 1- Power on the DVD (without any dvd on it) and the TV. 2- Wait till "no disc" signal appears on TV. 3- Press "repeat" on the remote. 4- Type 7 6 8 8 4. (This part is all about timing, if it doesnt work on your first try, keep chaning the tempo, firmly press the buttons and retry. Trust me, this works). 5- A menu with the current code will show up (on my case its 4= zone 4) and the option to insert a new code. 6- Press 0 so the 4 will be replaced with 0. 7- Open the tray and power OFF the dvd. 8- Voila! region-free :D Dont forget, keep trying if you dont get it on first try. I succesfully did it on my 4th time, so hang in there. | |||
