Apparently, this is an OEM version of a Sampo DV-R88ATN (see also http://www.area450.com/support/r88atnproblems.html) and there are various firmwares available, maybe also one for the Provision (not tested!). | |||

The name of the disc has to be: FWDVR1000 After burning, put the disc in your Provision and let it update itself. After updating, the tray will open. You can now remove the disc. | |||
