	1) Take your disc out. Close the Tray. 2) Hit setup. 3) Press + volume then - volume. Repeat several times. 4) Choose 255 for o region. The region free hack for the 800 is the same as the others by the Protron company.

	No hack needed?? I bought two players. The first one I followed the instructions for above hack. The second one, just for fun, I put in a Region 2 PAL movie. It played just fine. It also worked with Region 4 PAL. I tried the hack and after entering +volume and -volume a few times, 255 came up on the screen. That is how the first player did as well. I also tried the 300 and 3001 and could not tell any differemce.
