The multiregion hack posted by ade for the Proline 2000 works on the 2500. I tried it last night for a friend, and both R1 and R2 discs played back fine. The hack, which I hope ade won't mind me copying, was this: Press Menu on the Remote Control. Press 1, 6, 7 followed by the desired Region number, or press Mute for Region free. Exit the menu. This hack only works as long as the player is plugged into the mains. Once power is lost the handset hack requires to be re-entered. | |||
