	When the disc is loading, press the number 1 several times. This will ensure that you can watch other regions, however you won't be able to use your remote. To get rid of the wrong region sign at the top of hte screen, press the P/N button and this will be replaced by a more eyecatching stop sign

	01. If you have a disc in the tray, take it out first and THEN turn the power off on the unit; 02. Turn the power on with the remote control; 03. Open the tray with the remote control and leave open for the duration of this procedure; 04. Push the SETUP button on your remote control; 05. Arrow down on the remote control to the "Exit Setup" option - BUT DON'T CHOOSE IT!; 06. Now press, 1, 3, 6, 9 on your remote control (TIP - Get pretty close to the unit as the open tray may block the infra-red); 07. Using your remote control, press < three times and then > once; 08. A new option appears on the Set Up Menu called "Version", choose it and press the ENTER/> button; 09. Exit all the menus until you arrive back at the blue screen with the DVD logo on; 10. Now press the P/N button on your remote control. The word "MULTI" will appear at the top of your screen. 11. Close the tray by pressing the button on the unit. Unlike the other hacks above, this is permanent and won't render your remote control useless.

	hi the hack where u press 1 or 2 continuously works but leaves sub titles on n i dunno how to get rid a them cos remote dont work.the permanent hack doesnt work,goes thru all procedure but still says wrong region whys this

	I tried both too. The first one worked only on some of my region 1 dvd's and some it was still unable to read...hmm strange. The others worked fine althgouh I could not use teh remote. The second hack I tried and was able to set my DVD player on multi but it didn't makea difference? any new suggestions?

	I've tried Justin's hack and got right through to the PAL or NTSC or Multi-region option. I chose the Multi option but it won't 'hold'. What do I do to 'fix' this option? It's infuriating as the Proline appears to be able to play Multi region as it's in the hidden menu. Justin! Are you out there? What do we do? I don't fancy trying to hold this option by going through the permutations on the remote. What about Adam who said that he'd got this to work on his Mum's machine - what did you do? Any help with this, as this is driving me mad - I'm sooooo close.

	brought 2 of these players at the same time. One plays anything you throw at it the other will play some copied dvd's but not others. Any ideas as to why this is?
