The same hack for the Polaroid PDV-0700 and PDV-0800 works for the PDV-0801A as well: 1. Remove the DVD from the player. 2. Using the remote control, press the "Set-Up" button and advance to the far right-hand tab "Preferences". 3. Enter Code # 1379 then use the "up & down arrows" to change the Region Code.
