	first, you have to buy the remote control from polariod. It's $25ish. Then turn the unit on press set-up scroll to preferences press +10, 1379 this will reveal a region code box, scroll up to choose 0 (you can choose any region but i'd choose region free) I put a region 2 PAL dvd in and it played just fine

	Per above post, works flawlessly... Had to buy a remote in from the US, so if you know a way of digitizing the codes (have laptop available for this) mail me & I can send them your way!
