To unlock the Polaroid PDM-2737, I used the same hack as in Polaroid PDM-2727 1. Remove DVD disc from unit. 2. Turn on the DVD player. 3. Using the remote control, press the "setup" scroll down to "Preferences" 4. Enter code number 1379 with the remote, the region changing code menu will appear. Then use the ENTER key of the remote to select another region code. Press Enter repeatedly till you get your Region Code. 0 was not available and I took 9 for All Regions as suggested in some other hacks. press the "Setup" to save and exit. I tried a Region 1 and Region 2 DVD and both worked fine. I did not have a Region 5 dvd to test that, but I think it will play fine. But one thing to note is, once I changed the Region to 9, I was not able to go back to the Region set up screen by following the above procedure. Looks like we can apply the hack only once. Be sure to select 9 for All Region and you'll be fine. It reads NTSC and PAL DVDs. Jag | |||
