I tried the region code hack of the PDM-0722 on the PDM-0822 and it works exactly the same way: 1. Turn on the unit. 2. Press "Set-Up" button and advance to the far right-hand tab "Preferences". Do not hit Enter. 3. Using the remote control, Enter Code # 1379 then use the "Enter Key" to change the Region Code. 4. Select the region code using the up/down arrows. Once code is chosen, press enter. Region 0 can also be selected (this is what I did). I ran a first test with a PAL zone 2 disc and it worked suprisingly, a PAL DVD plays without any problems, although the specs of this portable DVD do not mention anything about PAL/NTSC conversion capabilities). | |||
