I did the same as recomended to PDM-0722, and it works as well. 1. Turn on the unit. 2. Press "Set-Up" button and advance to the far right-hand tab "Preferences". Do not hit Enter. 3. Using the remote control, Enter Code # 1379 then use the "Enter Key" to change the Region Code. 4. Once code is chosen, press enter. Obs. region 1-6 or 0 for all regions | |||

A remote does NOT come with the player. You have to go to www.polaroidelectronics.com, order a remote control for the portable DVD player (around $25-US). Once you have the remote: Turn on the unit. -Press "Set-Up" button and advance to the far right-hand tab "Preferences".
