I don't know if these work, I footed the $5 bill for this hack so don't whine if it doesn't work because I'll be in the same boat as you!! 1st method : Power on the player without DVD inside. Press "SETUP" on the remote control. Select "GENERAL" then "Basic". Press "ENTER" on the remote control. Press "DISPLAY", then "CONDITIONS". Press the 0 button on the Remote Control for Region free, or 1 for Region 1, 2 for Region 2 and so on Press "DISPLAY" then "SETUP" on the remote control. Your DVD player is now region free. 2nd method : Power on the player without DVD inside. Press "SETUP" on the remote control. Select "GENERAL" then "Basic". Press "ENTER" on the remote control. Press "DISPLAY". Press the 0 button on the Remote Control for Region free, or 1 for Region 1, 2 for Region 2 and so on. Press "CONDITIONS" then "SETUP" on the remote control. Your DVD player is now region free. 3rd method : Insert the DVD you want to play. "Bad Region" will be displayed on screen. Press and keep "Top Menu" and in the same moment press "Menu". The player search and the movie start. You'll have to repeat the operation each times.
