	No hack really necessary. It played a region 2 PAL disc on an NTSC television with no problems.

	No hack. Pioneer DV-563A-s from Best Buy right out of the box played a region 2 PAL disc on an NTSC television with no problems.

	I tried a R2 PAL DVD of "Convoy" in this player and it didn't work so hardware modification is required.
