My DV 266 was already set to region "0" but on the box it said region "4" To check your region code: Turn on the dvd, press "Setup" on remote, choose menu Initial Settings > Options. Press "Display" on your remote. Now there should be displayed: REGION *: ROM VERSION ****Adv mine was displayed like this REGION 0 ROM VERSION "cant remember"Adv 1.389 or something some DVD roms are multi region any way one of mine was region 2,3,5,6 or something another was 2 and 4 | |||
