If your TV is not Pal compatible, don't waste your time and/or money on these procedures! European Models Just send the IR code as discussed on the DV-454 hack page. It seems as though that the most popular way of obtaining this would be by uploading the HEX code or CCF to your Logitech Harmony account and having Logitech convert it for you. Don't tell them it's for making the player multi-region, or they won't accept it. Call it Pioneer Special Service Function or something like that. North American Models Before the player will accept the IR code above, you must first change it to a European model, send the above IR code, and change it back to the North American model. Find a CCF Pronto file for the Pioneer GGF1381 service remote and upload it to your Logitech Harmony account. Once you have your Harmony programmed, sequencially press ESC, MON.A/A.MON, and 0201. Wait for your player to turn off for about thirty seconds. If it doesn't turn off, turn it off via the front panel. Turn the player back on. Once it's on and you've gone through the startup navigator, send the multi-region IR code. The player should turn off. Turn the player on again. Once it's on, using the Pioneer GGF1381 template, sequencially press ESC, MON.A/A.MON, and 0204 to return to the North American model. If the player doesn't turn off within thirty seconds, turn it off via the front panel. Turn it back on, make all your settings, and you're done. Good luck! | |||

Correction! When changing the model from North American to European, sequencially press ESC, MON.A/A.MON, TEST, and 0201. To return to the North American model, sequencially press ESC, MON.A/A.MON, TEST, and 0204. Sorry about that! | |||
