1. Power ON the DVD player with no disc inside 2. Press SETUP> and go to Preferences 3. Press NEXT>, PREVIOUS<, NEXT>, PREVIOUS<, NEXT>, NEXT>, PREVIOUS< 4. The LCD display will show the current Region Code 5. Press the Navigation Up or Navigation Down buttons to select your desired region, or 0 for region free 6. Just to comment on the previously posted hack. This hack worked great on my machine, BUT took a while to work out: the NEXT & PREVIOUS buttons quoted are not the ones on the front of the unit used for navigating through the menu, BUT rather the next chapter & previous chapter buttons on the top of the machine. | |||
