Hi, I went out and bought a shiny new Philips PET 1046 today, I have owned loads of Philips DVD players and I think they are great, especially as they are all fairly easy to hack. This hack is for the 1002/1031, so I can't take credit, but I can confirm it works on the 1046 also. Switch the player on Open the tray door Press Setup on the remote control Select Audio Press RIGHT ARROW Press 2,1,2,2,2,5 Press LEFT ARROW Press DOWN ARROW Press 0 when the screen displays region code Press Setup to exit Then put in those cheap DVDs you bought from Amazon.com and feel free :-) | |||
