I read that this DVD has some LG parts. That is why I used LG hack. What to do to have your DVD free zone: 1) go to: http://lgregionfree.tripod.com/2005/menu1.htm 2) click on combi 3) save the file to your PC 4) unzip 5) read Readme.txt file and follow the instructions It did work for my Philips DVP 721 VR bought in France.
