- Press "System Menu" key to enter Set Up menu. - Move to "Preference Page" using arrow keys to the left or to the right. - Press the following sequence in the remote control: 135566 - A menu indicating "Region Code" will appear. - Change region using arrow keys to top or down. Region Code = 0 will play all regions. - Press "System Menu" key to exit Set Up menu. It is the same hack as Philips DVP 530 but it DOES work !!! Many thanks to Pepe for posting this first ! | |||

The hack worked fine for me. i purchased my player from tesco. The remote wasn't happy about selecting the 'preferences' tab. I took out a DVD and managed to get there in the end. Thanks v much | |||

Region code by Arschlecker worked! Note: leave tray open; select 3rd picture from left ("preference") and then just type the code 135566 (there is no "button" you have to click on first to type the code). Region code will appear. thanx! Twan | |||

(1)swith your dvd unit on and ensure disc tray is empty. (2)on your dvd remote press ''sytem menu''and with the arrow right key,scroll over to ''preference page'' (3)punch in code <135566>, that will take you into the manufacturere's page. (4)with the arrow up key..just change the current region number to ''0'' (0= multi region or ''all'') (5)and finally to save and exit, just press ''system menu''. | |||
