I tried the hack for some of the other 38 models and it worked. 1. Turn on the DVD player. Leave disc tray empty. 2. Go to setup --> preferences 3.With preferences highlighted press next chapter >|, previous chapter |<, next chapter >|, previous chapter |< 4. A screen will appear showing the current region code (I'm in Australia, so it was 4) 5. Use the down button on the navigation wheel of the remote, to change the numbers until you get to 0. It will now be region free. 6. Press okay to confirm the change. | |||
