To play Region 1 dvd's using the remote supplied press Play 159 then 005 000 128 156 then hit play and you are set. To return to PAL press play then 009 000 000 000 then play again. That's it. Cheers. Chris. | |||

In response to Chris and Ashley, Play 159 009000000000 Play or Play 159 004000000000 Play, would not work for me, so I went through 001000000000 - 002 and so on. 006 screen display read PHILIPS MAGNOVOX but still worked. 007 screen display read PHILIPS and it worked so I stayed with that . I hope this helps someone else. | |||

I have a factory reset code for the 718 and it is as follows,using 718 remote. Press play.159.004.001.000.140.play.tv screen will flash red quickly and its done Worked for me on my region4 pal 718. Cheers | |||
