1. Press Play on the remote, followed by 1, 5 and 9. 2. When the display reads '________' enter 005 000 128 156 using the remote. (Note the 12 digit code, when there are only 11 spaces.. This is normal, just enter the whole code, and press Play) 3. Press Play on the remote. Your player is now a region 1 only player. To return it to region 2 only do the following: 1. Press Play on the remote, followed by 1, 5 and 9. 2. When the display reads '________' enter 002 000 128 156 using the remote.(Note the 12 digit code, when there are only 11 spaces.. This is normal, just enter the whole code, and press Play) 3. Press Play on the remote. Your player is now a region 2 & 4 only player. Disable Macrovision: 1. Press PLAY button and enter 274 from RC. 2. When read "----------" enter 222 222 001 000 and press PLAY or turn off. 3. Turn on again. Macrovision is disabled. | |||

To set the player in Region 1 press 'play' followed by 1,5,9. then enter the code 003 000 128 156 using the remote control. Press 'play'. The confirmation of the procedure it's a little blink in the screen. The background color change to blue. This has been tested with the following movies: MIB, The Mask, Liar Liar, Ace Ventura 1, The 5th Element and Starship troopers. | |||

Make DVD Multizone Try to get a RC type One4all, for introducihg RC6 code. 1. Turn on DVD and wait for "NO DISC" message. 2. Take RC and configure this with number code 0539, and press DVD button. 3. Press button MAGIC and press 085 code. In this moment you can see in your DVD something like this "------------" 4. Take original RC for DVD and introduce this: 222 222 005 225 5. Press PLAY and turn off DVD. Unplug for several seconds, and plug again. 6. Turn on again, and your DVD is multizone. | |||

All files are compressed into .zip archives. Follow the instructions carefully, and remember that you perform the update at your own risk! Instructions: In most cases, you need to burn a CD-R in Mode 2 CDROM-XA ISO9660 which contains the files "xxxxxxxx.xxx" and DOWNLOAD.xxx" only (where xxx and xxxxxxxx.xxx are numbers which represent the version and revision of the firmware and which vary depending on the firmware version you download). For best results, burn at 1x speed. Also, you must ensure that you finalize (or 'fix') the CD-R. Once you have done this; Switch on the player and wait for initialising to complete The display will read 'No Disc'. Open the drawer, insert the disc and close the drawer. Do not press 'Play'. The new firmware will load automatically and, when completed, the drawer will open once again. Remove the disc and close the drawer by pushing gently on the front edge. Do not use the 'Close' button. Switch off the power and then switch on again. Reprogramming is now complete. | |||
