I bought in Trier (Germany) a rather cheap (Euro 14,95) remote control (One-for-All, type URC-3440). I follow the instructions as specified on the links www.home.zonnet.nl/jeroenverhaar/en/indexdvd.htm) and www.regionfreedvd.net I found through the wwwdvdrhelp.com site: 1. One-for-All RC set up to control Philips DVD (setup code 0539) following the instructions in the manual of this RC. 2. Press DVD button One-for-All RC. 3. Press Magic button One-for-All RC. 4. Enter 085 on One-for-All RC. 5. Dashes appear in the display of the DVD. 6. Enter 222222005255 on original Philips RC (entering more digits then dashes in display) . 7.
