The BDP2501 sold in Canada comes with a Remote Control that does not have digits. So the sequence 'Press HOME on the remote, Enter 1389310' is not possible to use. Any idea? Thanks | |||

you could try this. it works for philips dvd players...., Open the disc tray Press SETUP Navigate to the preferences page Enter 138 931 Select region using UP/DOWN (Press SETUP) | |||

I am still sorry that we cannot have a hack to unlock the DVD zones. Note that this unit is able to play back DVDs for Region 1 and "ALL". So it will play back a Region 2 (for exemple) if you create a backup copy of your disk as a Region 0. Please use the disk(s) that you have bought only! | |||
