I tested and it works. Is the same as the BDP2205 To set the DVD region: Power on with no disc in tray Press HOME on the remote Enter 1389310 The last digit 0 is the region number you want to set it to. There will be no screen notification that the keys were entered correctly. To check the region: Power on with no disc inside Press HOME on the remote Enter 8520 The BluRay & DVD region will be shown along with a lot of other device info.
