This may be a region code hack, all I know is that my dvd player wouldn't play any dvd at all. I would get the classic Panasonic "No Play" error on the DVD player display, and the TV would read "Disc of this region type can not be played" or some crap like that. Pressing these buttons fixed that problem and resurected my $300 (at the time) DVD player. On the actual player, press and hold Pause, Open/Close, and Skip Forward (>>|) until the player says "Initailize". Pop in your favorite DVD and get some popcorn. I can take little credit as I read this tip off a post on the Panasonic RV60 discussion board. It just worked for my RV80. | |||
