After seeing other hacks listed here for various Panasonic models, I started trying all kinds of key combinations. Here's what I have come up with: If only we had a memory map: The Pause+FF+8 memory modifier tool *could possibly* be used to disable macrovision or change region settings. All the low memory addresses I tried just returned 00. ---The list: Pause+Open, Pause+FF, Pause+FR --> simultaneously press & hold these buttons on the front panel (next key before the "=" is on the remote) Pause+Open+ Return = A 4B4 FFFF 9 = LCD Test 8 = ? 7 = VO10 62B430 6 = 1 NN 123 5 = J 000 000 00 then J 999 000 00 {4-1} = Test Mode n 0 = 01 F--- then back to NO DISC Display = LDD 036 035 then back to NO DISC TO FULL RESET DVD SIMULTANEOUSLY PRESS & HOLD ON THE FRONT PANEL : Pause+FR+Menu (on remote); (on display you see F2 or another) after that press Cancel on remote (on display you see INITIALISED)!!! INSERT DVD Service Disc No2 and confirm "STOP" is displayed... USING THE REMOTE press "SETUP" Go to "DISPLAY" menu Select "ON SCREEN MESSAGES" then press "ENTER" button Press ">10" found on the bottom right coner Press "6" button Press "4" button Press "3" button Press "8" button A PASSWORD WINDOW SHOULD APPEAR TYPE IN "3192" The password to remove Macrovision is "3193" PRESS THE "ENTER" BUTTON TWICE the disk will be read, when finished remove disk.
