Region Hack posted by Jacobo40 for RMR-EZ25 This also works on the Panasonic DMR-EX77 Using a OFA Kameleon 4 (on special offer from my local Maplin Branch and also on their internet site) it requires a 5 digit code, so make up a table like so-using the codes 191,120,065,180,143,155,122,117,129,123 Magic 994 Magic 00191 -1 (Rabbit from Hat) (2 Flashes) Magic 994 Magic 00120 -2 Magic 994 Magic 00065 -3 And so on up to 0 Take great care entering codes (I did them twice) and tick them off when entered. After pointing the Kammy at the DMR EX-77 from about 3 feet press each button in turn 1-2-3 etc and after a few seconds Hello should appear Programs copied from Hdd to disc are also region free as confirmed by NERO (Disc Info) Reset the Kammy using the learning feature ie.1 back on 1.2 on 2 etc as if you don’t the numeric keys will fire the code on the button the next time you use it. Great I can now watch any region movie again. | |||

Panasonic DMR-EX77 Hack code for multi region DVD capability How to convert to multi-region DVD by using the following procedure using a oneforall remote (URC-7740, URC-8040 or others):- Full procedure for programming a URC-7740 oneforall remote is as follows (URC-8040 is similar… [Rabbit from Hat – 2 flashes]):- 1. Press DVD button 2. Hold the magic button until the DVD button flashes twice. 3. Press 0490 (this sets the oneforall remote so it can control the Panasonic DMR-EX77) 4. Hold the magic button until it flashes twice. 5. Press 994 6. Press Magic Key (don't hold) 7. Press 00191 (if your oneforall remote uses 4 digit or 3 digit codes, use less leading zeros) 8. Press 1 (this sets it to key 1 - it flashes twice ) 9. Hold the magic button until it flashes twice. 10. Press 994 11. Press Magic Key (don't hold) 12. Press 00120 13. Press 2 (this sets it to key 2 - it flashes twice ) 14. Hold the magic button until it flashes twice. 15. Press 994 16. Press Magic Key (don't hold) 17. Press 00065 18. Use the original Panasonic remote that came with the player to bring the player out of standby, make sure there isn't a disc in it. 2. Now Press in sequence 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 0 on the oneforall remote. 3. The DMR-EX77 will do a reboot (you should hear this) and the display will say Hello and then return to normal display data. 4. The unit is now region free. | |||
