press Setup then press 9 8 7 followed by pressing the add/clear button then press the region required a confirmation box will appear press ok | |||

The hack does work on my UK model as I have done this today. A firmware upgrade is available free to download and burn on to cd.If upgrading DVD firmware you will need to re-enter the region hack again.
