i bought this model at asda on the6 feb 03 and no other hacks worked on this model. i cant belive this worked. it should only work on a warfdale 750 but here goes. switch on.on the remote press "open/close",0,1,2,3,open/close and it plays straigt away. but nothing is shown on the screen. originaly from www.gavsterzone.freeserve.co./ukdvdhack. hope this works for you good luck | |||

It's true - a quality DVD player from Asda for £59.95. Highly recommended. This 1359 hack worked with my Pacific 1002 purchased March 03. Note. There is no on screen display or any indication on the machine when entering the hack. Switch machine on and using the remote control only: 1. Press 'open/close' button (the draw should be left open). 2. Press the 'clear' button. 3. Press '1'. 4. Press '3'. 5. Press '6'. 6 Press '9'. 7. Press '0' (zero for multi-region). 8. Press 'open/close' button. End. You now have the best multi-region bargain in the UK! | |||

I performed the Open, Clear, 1, 3, 6, 9, 0, Close hack to make the player Region Free. I then performed the Open, Clear, 4, 5, 6, 1, 0, Close to remove the macro. Both hacks took seconds and worked fine | |||

the macro hack DOESNT work. it only works on certain discs,and you have to change the region of the discs to the exact region to get it to work.i.e:region2 discs,the player must be set to region 2. apart form that,some versions of this player,the code is a little different:- make sure theres a disc in the drive(preferably one that wouldnt work before,like a region 1 disc). Step 1 Press "SET UP" Step 2 Press 7 for all region codes Step 3 press "PAUSE/STEP" Step 4 Press "PREVIOUS Step 5 Press "NEXT" Step 6 Press "SET UP" if this doesnt work,just open the tray with the disc still in it,and upon pressing setup for the last time,simply close the drawer,making the disc load. this was tried today(27,10.03),with one of the new 1002W's that i purchased for a family member. one of the dvd players wouldnt let me hack it with the 1369 code,the other wouldnt let me play dvd+Rs. but this code worked on the player when 1369 didnt work. | |||

I have tried all the above hacks, and I cannot get any of them to work, after trying several times! I have found a hack though, that worked first time, and took about 10seconds! This will make your player region free! 1. switch on dvd with remote (leave drawer closed) 2. Press: setup 3. press: 7 (note nothing will happen) 4. press: pause/setup button (again nothing will happen) 5. press: previous/I<< button (nothing will happen) 6. press: Next/>>I button (nothing will happen) 7. press: setup Ok, now all you have to do is press your open/close button insert a disc and close drawer, your player will now load any region dvds! This I guarantee, but as you do it nothing will happen on your screen so dont be alarmed, It does work, good luck,and have fun!! | |||

Depending on when you purchased you Pacific DVD and which batch its from depends on the hack that will work for you.. ALSO you may find that your player is reigon free anyway as i found with the many my friends and relitives have purchased from our local ASDA (Stoke-on-Trent,UK) Another thing i've noticed is that some of these players when you insert a Data-CD displays a menu where you can access the disks folders, where as some (usually the older batch) dont.. | |||

note I have found the hack for the pacific phc 203 home theater it will work for sure if you follow these instructions found the hack for this player. here it is 1. press power on your remote to start the player. 2. press open on your control to open the disc tray. 3. Press the the volume button to maximum. 4. whilst it still displays the word maximum press language. 5. an onscreen display will apear. 6. prees up or down to choose your selected region, and then pree enter. jobs a good un, enjoy. | |||

Ok look, If you just want to simply make your DVD player multi regional then do the following using the remote- First- Open, Clear, 1, 3, 6, 9, 0, Close Then- Open, Clear, 4, 5, 6, 1, 0, Close Both hacks take seconds and work fine. I can now watch my New Zealand dvds on my Scottish DVD Player! | |||
