This hack works great. Email me for the file that you simply burn to CD leaving the filename the same. Once in the Optoma it will automatically upgrade the firmware. I have tried it out and it works great! | |||

DVDROM.ZIP 1) unzip attachment 2) put attachment in folder marked optoma dv10 3) burn with nero or other DATA CD writing software use a cdr 4) place in dvd projector and leave 5) it will show 'smart upgrade/update' and count down 7) IMPORTANT DO NOT DISCONNECT FROM MAINS SOCKET OR TOUCH ANY CONTROLS WHILST THIS SCREEN IS SHOWING!!! 6) it will say cd can be removed7) remove cd only after the screen dissapears and machine starts to cycle through the connections ie composite, scart, ect 8) its region free enjoy!! thanks wingchun i got this file from wing chun if u need it missorico1@hotmail.com | |||
