There is a hack available for the DV-SP800. Its the same hack as the Pioneer 747, since the onkyo is based on that pioneer. Its very simple and only involves putting a small chip into a small opening at the back of the machine. So no soldering and opening the machine. It allows automatic region and also manual region. No macrovision hack though. Its sold on the internet, just search for piomod. | |||
