	DP 311 and DP 312 aren´t the same model. This DP311 I bought from Wal Mart in Withby, ON, Canada (CAD$49). DP311 uses the LN9951 IDE loader, and CT99420AF + CT9928AF CheerTek combo. The default password for parental control is "8888", so, maybe anyone knows a "8888" hack method for this model. No problem with MV, works great throw VCR. Thanks in advance...

	Finally we did! The DP311 is running all region codes DVDs. We tried all sequences like "Setup + 8888 + Next" and others like this, from Norcent DP300, and from ElectroHome, Citizen and similar models. In the last try, we used DP300 remote control to type "Setup + 8888 + next" and "menu + 1 + 9", and nothing. But, after this last try, we putted a region 4 DVD and... bingo! It works! Call your friends and neighbours, borrow a DP300 remote control and voi-la! Good look, best regards for Norcent guys. BraveHeart.

	Norcent 311 need code 255 to encode the DVD then you play any regions.Succesfuly tested by Peter B.

	You must first insert a different region disc than the one that the player was sold for. If not doing so you will not have the screen for changing the region setting. You insert the disc and then after the region error message display you open the disc tray then on remote, setup,vol+,vol-,vol+,vol- and with the right arrow on remote you select 255.
